EVHUB SHOWCASES IN CAAS
AVIATION RUN 2011
12 November 2011
Changi Exhibition Centre
7:30am - 10:30am
Guest-of-Honour
Mr Lui Tuck Yew
Minister for Transport and Second Minister for Foreign
Affairs
Aviation Run 2011 (AR 2011) is a fun and non-competitive
run. Organised by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore
(CAAS), AR 2011 brings the aviation community together once
again to raise funds for the Community Chest. As Singapore
celebrates 100 years of aviation this year, it is especially
meaningful for the aviation community to foster closer ties
and heighten the spirit of partnership towards a charitable
cause.
As part of this year's theme on sustainable technologies,
evHUB was invited to showcase evHUB's innovation in
sustainable transport solutions to more than 5,000
participants in the aerospace industry.
Mr. Lui, Minister for Transport and Second Minister for
Foreign Affairs was introduced to various modes of
sustainable transport solutions by Mr. David Chou, Managing
Director of evHUB. Exhibits on display includes an
electric van converted by evHUB, a full electric outboard
motor propulsion rib for reservoir maintenance, an
amphibious hybrid boat for rapid launch search and rescue
operations (Collaboration project between evHUB and Sailorhub), the
Tesla full electric super car and
YikeBike, the world's lightest and most compact foldable electric last
mile mobility solution. These solutions are all
commercially available.
