† Torque values in this column are extrapolations
from actual measured data at lower currents. They are intended for
reference only and not as actual performance data. The exception to
this is the torque value shown for the WarP 13, which is from actual
dyno testing.
* A careful review of the listed torque values would raise the
question of why the TransWarP 7 shows nearly the same torque value
as the ImPulse 9, a larger diameter motor. The ImPulse 9 has a very
short armature stack (~4.5"). The 7" motor was designed to produce a
lot of torque for it's size and it has a VERY long armature stack
(~7.5"). The 7" motor (16.62") is also much longer than the ImPulse
9 (13.6"). The 7" motor produces the torque at a lower RPM than the
ImPulse 9. This is true across all the motors we carry. As the motor
size increases, the torque capability increases and the RPMs drop.
